Custom Design

Each booklet is uniquely branded to your school's colors and style. You provide the content and we'll provide the custom professional design. As a client, you’ll work one-on-one with our graphic designer to achieve your desired results.

PRINTING

Printed on high quality cardstock, the course catalogs are available in small (5.5" x 8.5"), medium (6" x 9"), and large (8.5" x 11"), as well as custom sizes. Our cardstock includes a beautiful silk matte finish as well as a square back saddle stitch, so the pages lay flat when closed. We also have economy options available for those who are on a tighter budget and premium options for those who'd like a more custom printed design & feel. Printing is optional.

Your initial investment includes the design and printing fees. Each consecutive year, we'll make adjustments to the previous design which will save you time and money. You can start at any point and finalize before it's time to order.

A typical project will look like this:

  1. Initial Contact
  2. Free No Obligation Consultation: either via phone, virtually, or in person in Delaware. For smaller projects, we can communicate via email.
  3. Commitment & Agreement
  4. Client Provided Content: Client will provide us with all contentphotos, wording, etc.  (We offer copywriting services for an additional fee). We encourage you to save original photo files and make sure they are the best quality you have. *This is the step where we require a deposit for certain projects.
  5. Design Proofs: We will upload our proofs online and/or attach them in an email. You can use Adobe Acrobat Pro to review and make comments or use our online proofing to make comments and suggest changes.
  6. Finalize Design: After a few rounds of editing, we will finalize the design and you will approve for print. While we have a professional proofreader and editor handy, it is the client’s responsibility to proofread all of their documents carefully before print. (We do offer proofreading services by a professional proofreader for an additional fee).

For catalogs, larger projects, and retainer agreements we require an initial 1-2 page contract that outlines the terms and details of the project as well as the overall project estimate. Anything else, we typically do not require a contract.

We offer design services and printing services. You can choose just one, the other, or both.

All design costs vary per project. We do not charge an hourly fee, however, we will estimate the overall project based on an hourly rate or the per page rate. We will give you an initial estimate after our consultation.

Typically, each project starts at a base price and range. All costs are fully disclosed, and adheared to, prior to beginning each project. The only way our price will go over the initial estimate is when additional services are requested. All printing prices for larger projects are also estimated, however, there are typically set prices for standard projects like brochures and postcards, etc.
Our minimum design fee is $100 for all projects and our hourly rate is $45/hr. If we are designing multiple printed materials with slight variations, we offer significant discounts on each additional variation (example would be business cards).

We require the design fee for all booklet and projects over $1000 after the initial proof has been sent. All projects require full payment before printing unless otherwise agreed upon.*

* If there is a rush project for an event, please keep in mind we cannot complete until full payment is made. We do accept credit cards for a 3% processing fee. Our minimum design fee is $100 for all projects and our hourly rate is $45/hr. If we are designing multiple printed materials with slight variations, we offer significant discounts on each additional variation (example would be business cards).

Yes, we take credit cards but prefer checks and direct deposit. We charge a 3% processing fee for all projects paying with Credit Cards.

We encourage you to give us at least a two months for large projects such as multiple page catalogs and booklets, but you can start at any time. For smaller projects, we recommend 3-4 weeks for design and printing.

Print turnaround time varies per product but booklets can come in as soon as 5-7 business days, sometimes sooner. 

We do offer rush print turnaround times for products like flyers, postcards, and business cards as soon as 3 business days. Any rush projects may incur an additional fee.

Yes, we are a Delaware vendor and we can provide you with our Supplier ID number. We currently serve Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, DC, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
